Located just 10 miles east of New York City, Kew Gardens NY became the home to Milton Sokol & Co. Inc in 2000. Prior to the move, for over 70 years, the company had been located at several locations in lower Manhattan. Shortly before the move it became apparent that New York City was increasingly becoming a residential and urban office area that was ill suited to house a large warehouse operation. The building in Kew Gardens was the ideal location with its central location to both major airports, proximity to Manhattan, as well accessibility to mass transit.

Our warehouse at 127-25 Metropolitan Avenue is fully shelved, with two loading docks, and over 25,000 sf of combined office and warehouse space. We have a large sample department that is well organized and uses the latest in cutting machinery and labeling.

Whereas some companies use third party warehouse services, at Milton Sokol we advertise a commitment to customer service which in the case of leather means high standards of quality control. Nothing leaves our building unless a rigorous inspection is done by our own trained professionals.

We keep millions of sq ft of leather in stock at all times. This allows us to offer an incredibly diversified selection of leathers, and in large volume. Additionally, we have the ability to deliver just in time to our program clients who depend on this service.
